What is vore?

Or what kinds of vore exist? Or any number of myriad questions in that regard. Well good sir/madame/non-binary and/or void spawn, I am here to hopefully elucidate all of these quandries!

Now I could go into the ancient origins of vore, and all the references to it in history, but let me simply explain the modern day and most common use of the term.
